Everyone gets the 9 module online course. This is designed as a self paced course meaning you can whizz through it in a week or take a whole year to work your way through- whatever works for you.
Each module has a guidebook to help you navigate each topic. You'll find information and knowledge in there, as well as space for you to make your own notes and brainstorm ideas, plus it will highlight any decisions you need to make along the way.
You'll also get 2 bonus modules that include templates and how to's in order to give you a headstart on creating your card deck.
You'll join the Deck Adventurers Guild; a community of people who are also on their Deck Adventure journey. You can use this to support each other as well as ask questions, share ideas and celebrate your progress.
And finally; once your deck is finished, you can feature it on our website for all to see. If it's a deck that others can buy, you can include a purchase link.

The course is designed to help anyone create a card deck, no matter their topic. Whilst it’s aimed at facilitators, all you really need is the will to have a card deck and be ready to get stuck in. YOU are the one who will bring your own themes and magic to life through the process and the Deck Adventurers Guild can help you along the way.
Do I have the necessary skills to design a professional and effective card deck? What if I lack design expertise or resources?
The course will guide you through all the knowledge and decisions you need to make in order to get your card deck to the place you want it to be. It could be that you decide to use simple software and print them at home. Or maybe you’ll choose to outsource your artwork creation because you have a particular aesthetic in mind that you know will best be done by a pro. Or some combination of all the options! The choice is yours but you’ll be guided through how to decide.
How can I integrate these card decks into increasingly digital workshop formats? What technical support and resources will I need?
In some ways it’s far easier to create a digital deck than a printed one because the artwork doesn’t need to be of such particular specifications. Whether you want to use your deck on an online whiteboard or load it to one of the card specific platforms, you’ll be guided through how to get there yourself. If you feel you extra support, we can help or will do our best to point you to someone who can.
Who is Creative Compass best for?
If you want to create a card deck but know you're not always totally motivated to get things done on your own then this is for you! You'll get extra hand-holding and encouragement to keep moving forwards and get your card deck done.
When can I expect a response to my message as part of the Creative Compass offer?
I'll always aim to get back to you within 24 hours, but realistically I'm expecting this to be much quicker in the majority of cases and if I can answer you straight away then I will. I know you may be working on your deck at the time and need a reply to keep moving. As a trailblazer this is all part of the test to see what works for both you and for me.
How long do I have access to you as part of the Creative Compass offer?
The trailblazers will all be aiming to be finished by the end of 2024, so that's 3-4 months depending on when you sign up. Part of the trailblazer testing will be to see how long access is needed for. We can discuss and flex this as we progress to make sure you get the support you need to get your card deck done!
